Nintendo Pulls Wii Ads Due to High Demand

Nintendo has decided to pull ads for the Wii, because demand for the console is already way too high. According to a Nintendo spokesman:
“We have been running the campaign all year round, but we want to take a responsible stance this Christmas and not fuel demand.”
Instead, the company will be switching out its Wii ads with DS ads. Since the planned Wii compaign is not holiday themed, they plan to run them next year once the shopping rush dies down. Somehow though, I doubt any of this is going to make it easier to find a Wii on store shelves this month.

Why are Wii’s still so rare. It’s been a year. Whose fault is it if you can’t advertise on a year old product? Yours.
Hehe, my teacher said that she was getting a Wii if she lucked out.
I was like WTF
They’re still selling out?
why not make more..? Honestly.. its the hottest item on the market today.. shopping for one is such a pain in the ass.. they are going for $400+ on EBay.. its ridiculous… You almost have to kill someone to get one.. I dont understand..
