Nintendo is apparently planning to speed up production for the Wii. Currently, Nintendo is pushing out 1.8 million a month worldwide but sometime this Summer they will be pushing it to 2.4 million per month. While this is not a huge jump in numbers per say, especially with them flying off the shelves over in the UK, it is at least good news for folks who have not been able to get their hands on the console.

This news comes on the heels of Nintendo releasing its financial earnings report this morning which stated that the number of games which sold over a million copies has risen from 5 to 26.
