Nintendo looking for next great filmmaker

Ever wanted to make a moving picture?

Well Nintendo is looking for some user created short films to demonstrate what it is to be a gamer, specifically a Nintendo fan. The company has assembled a panel consisting of three industry experts, among them a Nintendo executive, an industry critic/reporter and one of the senior programmers for the Tribecca film festival. Gamers are invited to create their own short films for judging by submitting them to mailing the submission and completed entry form to:

The submission period is from 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on May 14, 2007, to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on June 6, 2007.

Entries are expected to be around 5 minutes long and Nintendo themed. Comedy, drama or heck even fantasy themed pieces are welcome. The top three submissions will be presented Nintendo hardware and games but the first place award presentation will win $10,000 and a lunch with Tribecca film festival co-founder Craig Hatkoff.
