For those of us who cannot wait until June 3rd for the release of Ninja Gaiden 2, Tecmo and XBL will be giving us a taste of the pain that is surely to come in May. The demo for the game does not have a set release date, but May is only a month away so I am sure an exact date will be forthcoming soon along with details on the content of the demo. Maybe it will be “The Temple of Sacrifice“, which they showed at GDC, if so expect the XBL servers to be sluggish the day the demo is released.
Ninja Gaiden 2 features a new and improved game engine developed from the ground up exclusively for Microsoft and Xbox 360, players will guide Ryu Hayabusa on a mission to avenge his clan and prevent the destruction of the human race. Armed with an assortment of ninja weaponry, you must help Ryu skillfully maneuver through a world fraught with peril and danger. Ninja Gaiden 2 also features a new auto-health regeneration system, an extensive assortment of ninja weaponry, and both land and water-based action with advanced on-water battles providing a counterpoint to the land-based action.
