nights weather NiGHTS will Use Wii’s Forecast Channel

While the upcoming NiGHTS game has been bashed by many of those that have played it, it does at least have one feature going in its favor – it’ll be the first Wii game to take advantage of the Wii’s Forecast Channel, allowing the game to emulate the type of weather you’re experiencing yourself.

A virtual pet mode in the game will be impacted especially by this, as your creatures will be affected by the weather and act differently depending on the weather. Hopefully you don’t live in a place with crappy weather all the time.

Sounds like a good idea, but people aren’t going to care if the game isn’t any good. We’ll have to see how it turns out.
