Nicole Kidman’s Brain Age

Celebrity endorsements aren’t so common in the world of video, save for the occasional rock star playing their PS2 on their tour bus. That’s why it’s kind of surprising that Nicole Kidman has signed on for a 60-day promotional campaign for the follow up to Brain Age on the Nintendo DS, called More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?” Yes, the Oscar-winning actress is apparently quite interested in how the handheld can be used for education as well as fun:
“I love the concept that Nintendo is reaching out to new audiences with their self improvement products like Brain Training. Most importantly, I’ve quickly found that training my brain is a great way to keep my mind feeling young.”
I have to admit, if you’re going to get a celebrity to tout a game that involves strengthening your brain, you can’t go wrong with someone like Ms. Kidman. If a campaign to strengthen your brain was being extolled by Snoop Dogg, I might be less inclined to buy into it. On the other hand, the D-oh-double-G were to advertise a game called “Pimp Age,” I might listen to what he had to say.
