Newest James Bond, Daniel Craig, a Hardcore Gamer?

Score one for the nerds. Recently, Daniel Craig, the latest James Bond and star of Casino Royale, revealed that he loves playing video games whenever he gets a chance.
“I can switch the phone off and not see anybody for a couple of hours. That is blissful. It’s just as well I don’t have much spare time or I would probably fritter it away playing computer games.”
He also apparently knows enough about games to know that movie licenses usually equal terrible games and initially refused to sign off on a Casino Royale game:
When I started signing contracts for Bond I said, ‘I’m not doing the computer game’ and they said, ‘Tough, you are’. I said to the people making the Bond game, ‘You’ve got to make this good because there is so much rubbish out there.’
So, 007’s a gamer. Just remember that if you’re ever online playing someone with the Gamertag “xFromRu55iaWithLov3x.” Whatever you do though, don’t play him in poker. That’s just a bad idea.

Uh that is really weird. Daniel Craig is one of the last people I would think plays video games. But he was awesome in Casino Royale, I’ll give him that.
He ought to stab them and make them port Goldeneye 64.
Goldeneye 64 is the Holy Grail of FPS’s……. I want them to top it
“Goldeneye 64 is the Holy Grail of FPS’s”
id say of console fps. there are a bunch of fps on pc that are just as good if not better than goldeneye 64.
Play goldeneye 64 now and it’s really crap
@ Peter,
I don’t know, I’ve played it recently and it still is very interesting, but maybe that’s my nostalgia coming through.
lol same here weclock, its still my favorite split screen console shooter, we play it every thanksgiving and xmas when we have our family get together.

I disagree with that. Goldeneye is the only FPS I have ever liked on a console (I even bought a N64 just to play it) and imo its one of the few games from the 90’s that is still a great game to play. Obviously the graphics look pretty dated now but the playability is great.

I still find Perfect Darks Shooting range entertaining…
