New York Times Essentials List SNAFU

The New York times has issued an essentials list that wasn’t well researched. Can you spot the errors in this piece?
“Those who have spent the day trading carbon credits have another opportunity to save the planet, this time from aliens in Halo 3, the third edition of the Xbox 360 game. The PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 5, a hyper-realistic, high-speed journey, is one of the best sellers for that Sony console, which starts at $299. Microsoft’s Xbox starts at $280. Both are built around the multicore Cell processor, which allows numerous tasks to be done simultaneously.”
Could you spot them?
1. Sony’s Gran Turismo 5 isn’t “one of the best sellers” for the PS3. The game isn’t even out yet.
2. The PS3 starts at $399, We only wish you could pick the things up for $299.
3. The PS3 may be “built around the multicore Cell processor,” but the Xbox 360 isn’t.

The New York Times screw something up?? NO, Never, that would never happen! [/sarcasm]
Well, you can pick up a PS3 for $299, kinda. I did.
On the SonyStyle web site, if you apply for their credit card and get instant approval you get a $100 credit on your first purchase of $299 or more. So, buy a 40GB PS3 for $399, get the $100 credit, and voila, you get a PS3 for $299.
