Infinite Undiscovery Trailer (HD)

Square Enix has released a new trailer for their upcoming RPG, Infinite Undiscovery. It probably has something to do with the September 2nd release date that was announced just yesterday. So far, just at a glance, the game looks like a much more epic, character-driven Final Fantasy XII. Not a lot of innovation there, but it could be a fun ride anyway.

I agree. The game looks really epic. I hope they have an option for Japanese voice & English subtitles because dubbing Japanese voices never come out right.

  2. erathoniel says:

I thought I heard one of the characters yell: “Innuendo Dive!”

It really is time I take a break for a few hours.

  3. Pariah says:

Hmmm… I’m pretty sure I heard that too… strange… looks and sounds a bit… well… rubbish really, to be honest.

  4. Prat says:

Yeah Infinite Undiscovery? wow.. that sounds.. um. Yes.
    What a very epic name.

  5. Wiff says:

OK, if there’s one thing I hate in games like this it’s shouting out the attacks’ names, it just sounds so damn STUPID!

  6. Daniel says:

@Wiff: I don’t mind if they yell out the name of the attack in their native Japanese language. We all grew up with yells like “Haduken” or “Shoryuken”… but they wouldn’t sound as good if they yelled “Fireball” or “Dragon Punch”.

If developers want to dub a Japanese game to English, then go right ahead. But when it comes to stuff like yelling attacks, keep it in Japanese please!
