Battlefield Heroes Trailer

Skeptical over how Battlefield Heroes, the free ad-based Battlefield game releasing later this year, is going to turn out? Perfectly understandable. Maybe a teaser trailer – with some gameplay footage – will ease your worries and let you see what the game looks like in action and the attitude the game has.

It definitely seems like the vibe of Team Fortress 2 is what they’re going for here. There are even a few wisecracks from the fast talking narrator. I liked how they threw in that hint of the old Battlefield 1942 music that always gives goosebumps to fans of the series.

Can we all agree that I never thought war can look like so much fun? I mean, if you think about the concept of war, it’s to pretty much kill your enemy. And yet, in this trailer, they make it seem like super fun!

  2. Scrop says:

I hope it’s first person as well

    Oh man

    Looks like a blast!
I am really looking forward too this one and its FREE.

On a side note… I though it was funny that they put in the comment about bit torrents, lol. There watching us as we speak…

@ News – The graphics were used because of the run-back to one of Dice’s old games (that predates TF2 by some way). I can’t help think though that TF2’s success wouldn’t help cement such style though.

    @ Scrop – They’ve confirmed it’s all 3rd person.

That’s one of the best teasers for anything I’ve ever seen. Spot on.

This looks like a fun MMO pc game! They do make war look fun, however; I’m not sure what kind of reaction that will draw from veterans and other individuals that are sensitive to the subject. I can say I wouldn’t mind trying the game out though!
