Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword Trailer
There’s a new trailer and some screens up for Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword, an upcoming expansion to the hit strategy game. 2K is touting the game as “the biggest Civilization expansion pack in the history of the series,” and, from the looks of it, that’s no exaggeration. The game will feature ten new civilizations as well as new leaders for existing ones. There will also be five new wonders, earlier espionage options, and the ability to create corporations, which are similar to religions in the earlier parts of the game. The expansion will also feature 12 brand new scenarios, several of which fall out of the traditional Civilization themes; some of them from the Firaxis team, and some of them fan-created. Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword should be out at the end of this month.
