Upon seeing the line up for the upcoming Guitar Hero for the 80s, I personally was a bit disappointed that the there were fewer harder hitting pieces. However I’ve got good news for those who would like to see something with a bit more sting to it. The PRP has a list of new tracks out for Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s for the PS2. Here’s the list.
Anthrax – “Caught In A Mosh”
Iron Maiden – “Wrathchild”
.38 Special – “Hold on Loosely”
White Lion – “Radar Love”
Scorpions – “No One Like You”
The Vapors- “Turning Japanese”
Winger – “Seventeen”
No news yet on whether these titles will be covers or the real thing. I’ve got to say I’m really looking forward to rocking out with Scorpions, Anthrax, and Iron Maiden.

Anthrax – “Caught In A Mosh”
I wonder where they got their ‘Radar Love’ track from. That was a Golden Earring song, IIRC.
Yeah, but the 80’s version was White Lion.. and much weaker.
Who the hell is White Lion? I didn’t know anyone covered “Radar Love.”
You know, White Lion. Generic 80’s hair band. http://www.google.com/musica?aid=oo03NVMdjrI&sa=X&oi=music&ct=result
A couple of songs that defined the 80s rock scene:
Yes – Owner of the Lonely Heart
Dire Straights – Money for Nothing
How you can have an 80s rock game and not include those is beyond me.
Dire Straits, rather.
