Bungie Day 2007 will definitely be a day to remember.  The above image is a newly released ’spartan variant’ image.  I think we have a lot to look forward to this year from Halo 3.  The ability to customize our players is a huge advance for the series.  I’m honestly tired of trying to recognize players on my team by their symbol alone.  Sometimes in battle, there’s no time for that.

    Especially when your teammates keep changing that dang symbol every 3 weeks. Or use the same one as one of your other buddies. Or the same one but with a slightly different colour. Oh wait, they’ll probably do that to their armour too. Darn it…

    thats a friggin spartan III, if they’re anything like they are in the books then i’ll just stick with the chief’s armor.

    UM thats not a Spartan III…..That is a E.V.A. or Extra Vehicular Activity armor variant of the MArk VI MJOLNIR Armor…………. Just thought I’d let you guys know….

    havent you people read the books? of course, it is a spartan. if it were any other type of soldier they would be crushed under the pressure of the suit. it is just a less expensive, less upgraded, less detailed version of the MJOLNIR armor, and is operated by the newest of the spartans, the spartan III’s. if im not mistaken, this armor also has some sort of active camoflauge with it, and that would make up for not having some of the other details of the original spartan II armor has… i think ill go with the active camo instead of MC’s armor… sorry chief :)
