New Songs for Boom Boom Rocket Couldn’t Be Lamer

You might think that I exaggerated the title of this story just for the sake of doing so, but I really didn’t – I’m having a difficult time thinking of any song that could have been substituted for any of the five in the new Boom Boom Rocket downloadable content pack and caused it to be lamer. I just don’t think it’s possible.
The five song pack – which will be free until December 16, and will then go on to cost 250 Microsoft Points (or $3.12.. random much?) – contains such classics as “Sugar High” and “Explode to Joy.” At least the second one’s name sounds appropriate considering what Boom Boom Rocket is all about.
The five songs:
- “Eine Kleine Rochtmusik”
- “Cannon in D”
- “Sugar High”
- “Sting of the Bumble Bee”
- “Explode to Joy”
The content should now be available, although I didn’t spot it on the Marketplace when I was browsing earlier. Somehow I doubt you’re disappointed and/or actually read this far.
Update: Alongside the new songs for Boom Boom Rocket is a title update which adds improved fireworks, compatibility with guitars and dance mats, and newly enhanced leaderboards.
