There’s a batch of new screenshots up for Atlus’ new RPG, Baroque, which comes out on April 8 for the PS2 and Wii. Before knowing anything at all about this game, I took one look at these screens and immediately thought “emo.” From the dark imagery the cheesy dialogue to the main characters hairdo, something about this game makes me think the game involves you holding a guitar and wailing into a microphone while sobbing openly. Considering the premise involves ou playing as an amnesiac whose “heart beset with unexplained guilt,” I may not be far off. You can check out more screens here.

nah, i don’t think anything will ever top Final Fantasy 7 and 8 for “Retarded and Emo”

Destroy this game, it may not be published. There are already too many EMO’s around the world f***ing up my day

this is why “hardcore” games like this generally dont sell well. Websites like this give misleading articles about games that hurt the sales by the only fanbase that is likely to purchase the product. The game is actually a very mature Shin Megami style dungeon crawler.
