New Pokemon Themed DS Lite For Japan

Pokemon is returning to a Nintendo handheld system, but not as a game. Nintendo will be launching a bright yellow Pikachu DS Lite in the near future, and it will even have a matching yellow stylus. Unfortunately, it will be hard to acquire. To lay your hands on one of these, you’ll have to pay a visit to the Japanese Pokemon Center, where you’ll submit your name into a lottery. The lottery winners will gain the right to pay 16,800 Yen ($139) to walk out with the Pikachu-emblazoned handheld on July 20.

Of course, if you need on that badly, there’s always eBay, where I am sure you will be able to procure one of these babies for something nearing the GNP of a Third World country.
