New NBA Live ‘08 Screens

I wonder what the next 20 years will bring. If we can see this sort of detail in our virtual characters, what next? These new NBA Live 2008 screenshots are just ridiculous. I can almost see the dirt in their pores.
Has EA learned their lesson? It seems that all the new iterations of their sports series have been getting a massive overhaul, both in quality and production values. Will this newfound passion for innovation drive EA past their sordid reputation? Enough with the speculation already, time for another picture.
Some would argue that these second-generation games should, by definition, look this good. The real question we have to ask is how much better will they get by the time the next version of these consoles come out? I’m not sure, but pictures like these certainly give us hope for the future.
