EA has unveiled a new trailer for their first-person, action parkour-simulator, Mirror’s Edge. This new video doesn’t show any gameplay though and instead focuses on the story’s setup, as told through stylish 2D cut-scenes. The whole thing kind of feels like an intro to a Saturday morning cartoon show, an awesome-looking one. I’m actually hoping all the game’s cut-scenes look like this.

I wonder how the fighting mechanics will translate from a First-Person perspective. Maybe they’ll borrow from how Condemned did it. I’m interested how the running will feel as well since I’m assuming that’s what you’ll be doing for the majority of the time.

That was cool video. It has a retro feel to it that brings back memories of Flashback and Out of This World.
