New Konami Page Teasing Metal Gear Solid 5?

Over at the Konami website, there’s a shiny new countdown page (seen in the screenshot above). There’s no word on exactly what it’s a teaser for just yet, but if you visit the site, you’ll see it’s located in the Kojima Productions directory of the Konami site.
Each time the lightning flashes in the Flash driven countdown page, it reveals the outline of the number five. Whether this refers to Metal Gear Solid 5, or some other title, we’ll just have to wait and see. Maybe E3 will bring all the answers we seek.
Let’s just hope that if it is MGS5, it’s not featuring Raiden. I just don’t think I could take that.

I wonder if Hideo Kojima is still unsatisfied with his vision of MGS or if he has truly moved on?
already? metal gear solid 5? well this make me think that the game development is going to take a long time like 5 years or something like that. is that amount of time takes place only god knows how good mgs5 will be….

I hope Kojima isn’t satisfied with his vision for MGS, cause I know I’m not. MGS 4 was a huuuuge disappointment to me. after all the stuff you could do and had to do in MGS 3 likehunting your own food and whatnot. MGS 4 just felt like a ps1 game, to me, these companies need to wake up and realise that this is Next Gen gaming and we want longer games with more stuff in them, be it missions, survival, Items and equipment and so on and so forth.

i think it is trying to spell something. i waited for the countdown, and when it went to zero, different letters started to pop up, with a new countdown of 116 hours.

every lightening flash shows something different.
considering it’s showing big boss’ young face wearing a fox beret i’m thinking it’s set somewhere between mgs3 and portable ops.
could be just a throw off reference. the lightening at first made me think of raiden and what not. it might be. it’s either raiden or big boss.

There is a new MGS game that is supposed to come out for PSP, it’s most likely a reference to that.
