New Information on Dead Rising 2?

While Capcom has already announced that they are working on a sequel to the popular zombie action-fest, Dead Rising, they have yet to officially release any information on it. And of course, that means the rumors are flying and information is slowly leaking out. Folks over at The Gaming Life recently received an email from a source with a picture allegedly from the new game and a description of some of its new features:
“The environments for Dead Rising 2 look absolutely beautiful. They put a lot of effort and work into them. The zombies had not been added into the game yet, but the area looked even bigger then the original mall. The setting for it looks a lot like Las Vegas except somehow you are trapped only in a small section of the city with about 4 or 5 casinos, some restaurants, shopping areas and a lot of stores altogether. It looked very much like the strip in Las Vegas, but they didn’t show a whole lot to make an accurate portrayal. That an I know Resident Evil: Apocalypse is set there so I am unsure if they would go this route. All I can say for sure is that the setting was much bigger then the small town mall.â€
In addition to the new setting, the developers are intending to add a co-op online mode, previously thought to be included in a Platinum edition fo the first game:
“Finally this game will have some aspect of multiplayer where users will be able to play a survivor and try to tough it out online with at least 4 players. With the first one Capcom knew that gamers wanted a multiplayer zombie game. However did not have the time to make it happen. This game they are listening to the gamer through the survey that was taken a while back.â€
Rumours also indicate that a teaser trailer for the game may be shown at this year’s E3, so maybe we’ll get more details then.

Not necessarily fake, remember that ranbow six vegas is based on actual locales in las vegas (save for the “ordering” which was modified due to security rules) so it could be the same locale,
Also I dont remember seeing that exact scene in rainbow six. As far as I remember the scene where the car was in an enclosed room with a huge glass ceiling (you could pull an attack by going through the windows), not an open space like the one seen here.

This picture is from Rainbow Six Vegas; note the smoke in the doorway of the building to the right of the first palm tree closest to the camera view. Also take not of the grammar errors in the first quote. Aside from that, look down at the very bottom right-hand corner of the picture. RS:Vegas baby. Its all just to start circulating rumors about the game before Capcom has any say at all. Sadly, this may also mean that there may be no co-op mode…

It is fake, just look at the bottom right hand corner. You have to remember that Dead Rising isn’t an FPS, and also, why would they put Dead Rising on the stand ingame?

Also, look in the bottom right corner. Its part of a gun from a FPS.

I’m a graphic designer and I see elements of the “Cloning stamp” from Photoshop in the right hand corner. It’s not difficult to throw the “DeadRising” text on that kiosk (sp?) in the background. Rainbow Six Vegas screenshot.
Nope! It’s not Rainbow screnshot! Why?? Couse you can see the car that is in the “expo” in Vegas there isno car expo, the Dead Rising logo to the senter, if it is Vegas tell me where you find this location, with photoshop and a car expo?! SO IT’S NOT VEGAS, IT MAY BE DEAD RISING 2!
This is a picture of Rainbow Six: Vegas. You would know that if you paid any attention while playing through the game, or if you actually took the time to read any of our posts.
Remember the part where the family of 3 gets attacked by terrorists out in the open and you can help them? It was a smaller side thing, so you might not remember it if you dont remember this scene being in the game. I remember it so much because it took me a while to get past here.

it might actually be real, because if you see on the bottom left hand corner it shows that actual logo of dead rising 2, which this is the first website that shows it the same
also, note where the selling of food stand says deadrising
fake or not, the whole vegas idea sounds good. if they do set DR2 in vegas and resolve the problems of the original dead rising, could be a really great game.

the only way to find out if its fake or real is to find out yourselves
if you think its real youre an idiot. It is from Rainbow 6. Its so easy to forge a pictue. you dont even need photo shop. you could change that pictue just with paint. Also you can tell its from Rainbow six because the graphic is terrible and fuzzy. Dead rising had the best graphics of any 360 game. It was so defined. this graphic is bad just like the rest of rainbow six. Dont get me wrong i pray for dead rising 2 but this just isnt a dead rising style.
Thats cause it aint finished yet! Of course it looks fuzzy. remember what D Rising looked like at the start? ugly. Now it looks stunning.

1st rule of thumb….
a game NEVER puts is title in the map…only edited pictures by others to start rumours like this EVER do such a thing.
For example GTA had lots of references to OTHER games (some of which are not even theres lol) but did they ever write GTA anywhere in the game? NO
so putting Dead Rising in a Dead Rising 2 map imo is NOT what designers do..

That is clearly not dead rising!I looked up RS.Vegas and on the pics i found this exact picture but without the deadrising stuff!And Capcom still says it isnt even working on dead rising!This isnt real!It IS A FAKE!
Also issabella might of died at the end.Anyways I think they would be more concentrated on the posible zombie outbreak than dating.And if you beat the true ending the world does find out about the outbreak so why doesnt the goverment realize everyone knows and to just find the orphans and put them in…like a facility or sumthing!

Fake pic, real logo. The huge screen on the top middle is where the RS:V training and blooper vid plays if you shoot the axe bottle. The part where you save the family is where this pic is. I remember hiding behind that EXACT car. Mark my words!
