In Devil May Cry 4, gamers control Nero, the hero who is coming to grips with his new powers which are a huge contrast to his alliances and beliefs. Continuing the “legacy of fast paced action synonymous”, Devil May Cry 4 includes a new combat system that incorporates Nero’s “Devil Bringer.” This new feature delivers massive damage to enemies with non-stop combos thus gaining new and stronger powers for Nero’s right arm. New visual effects and action with a complex storyline, the Devil May Cry franchise is set to make a bloody splash with this fourth installment come January 2008. Looking at the cool screens, I am seriously hoping that Capcom does not disappoint us. We all remember how let-down we were after DMC2. Here’s hoping that this is not going to become an “every other game” franchise.
Storyline:
“Long ago the Dark Knight Sparda rebelled against the dark emperor and waged a one-man war to save humanity. Thousands of years later, a religious organization worships this renowned savior and has taken it upon themselves to rid the world of all evil. Residing in Fortuna, this organization is known as the “Order of the Sword,” and is made up of an elite group of “Holy Knights.” One day a young knight named Nero witnesses Sparda’s legendary son Dante slaughter his fellow warriors. Has the renowned devil hunter turned his back on mankind? What does this encounter mean for these two individuals?”
Devil May Cry 4 will be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Check out the new screens here.
