Capcom announced today that Neopets Puzzle Adventure has shipped for the Nintendo Wii, so if you have been waiting on this, run to the store now and pick it up. It has been available for the PC and Nintendo DS for a few weeks now, but finally Wii owners can get in on all the puzzle actions just like everyone else.
Neopets Puzzle Adventure is an easy to play, single and multiplayer puzzle game for fans and casual gamers alike, and lets players create and develop one of 12 Neopets characters by completing quests, playing mini-games, and battling others. Players will travel through three Lands of Neopia with more than 150 quests, while collecting “PetPets” for special abilities.
The Neopets game board itself resembles a chess board, while the gameplay takes the principles of Reversi and Go, and adds new twists where the goal is to turn all of the chips on the board to your Neopet’s color.
Key features
- Neopets Puzzle Adventure will generate codes that can be redeemed for unique items on the Neopets.com website
- Choose and customize one of 12 Neopets to be your central character in the story
- Travel through three Lands of Neopia as you experience an epic story with more than 150 quests in the single-player game
- “Co-operative” and “Head-to-Head” multiplayer matches
- Collect 150 “PetPets” for extra abilities and earn 30 special Awards for completing missions
- Collect over 300 items, recipes and treasures, many of which can be equipped on your pet to provide useful bonuses

So….. I know this has nothing to do with this post but, where have you guys been? No goodbye or explanation of why News filefront went away abruptly. This is pretty much the only place I went for my gaming news. It’s just easier to read than most sites. Are you here to stay? What’s up?
Welcome back guys…..and even Stephanie is back YAY!!!!
Go Marlins!!!!
I meant Stephany….I have a friend named Stephanie….damn it gets confusing sometimes.
News to come.. stand by..
No, Steph is not back. She works for VG247 now, part of the Eurogamer Network, but I will be on here in the comments section don’t you worry, and I will be able to say what I want to whomever I want with out getting fired. Woot!
@drsgfire — Ziff Davis no longer found FileFront cost feasible because they could not mamanage manage a fork and spoon let alone a website. The problem lies with print companies thinking they can run an online news site the same way. It’s apples and oranges really. But, the guys will no longer be under Ziff’s or 1UP’s yoke and I look for them to do something mega special here.
Also, as far as not saying goodbye, that was never our intent. Ziff was not going to pay for the webspace of the server costs for a site they planned to shut down two days after the bill was due,. If we had our way, we would have said goodbye to you all.
Look for the guys to explain this when Ron finally gets his first post ready.
Come on Brave Sir Ronnie, where’s the first post at???
SUGGESTION: Give the comments section an edit option. Damn wi-fi lag and my usual rearded typing skills need it.
LOL you said Rearded…..LOL
Go Marlins!!!!
@Steph – So how do you really feel out the demise of GT??
I’m worried.. I might incur the wrath of Steph with some of my posts and she’ll vent on me with her considerable venomous spite.. beware all!!!
We’ll miss having you on the team but you’ll always be here in our hearts and in our poorly spelled comments… sniff.. sniff..
well, you can always look back on my previous posts for some ill-typed words of inspiration
@Shawn
Suggestion….Perhaps a spell check in addition to an editor is in order since Steph is posting posting comments now….LOL
Go Marlins!!!!
Well one problem is we can’t give edit on the comments since we’re not recording any unique user info so effectively the user info is a one shot deal. The system does not store info about users who comment so there is no way to easily grant them edit rights without letting EVERYONE edit them.
weird, vg247 uses WP and we have that option… or am I being “readred” again.
Then again, FF has a nice spellcheck feature does not help when you are tying
away and the wireless does not register it until you have “typed” three lines
already.
Oh look a reply option….way cool.
Go Marlins!!!!
Ah, but the fundamental difference here is that you comment without logging in,
which goes back to what Shawn mentioned above. Since we don’t require login,
there’s really no easy way to allow users to edit comments.
@Ron
Could we have the ability to vote on the comments made and the ones that get a
certain amount of negative votes get either hidden from view or relegated to
the very bottom of the list?
This is a good idea, but I don’t know how quickly we would be able to implement it. I will add it to our list of ‘things to do’ in the future.
Ahh the return of GT. I am filled with a range of emotions the likes of which I have not experienced since the last time I was solicited by an elderly Asian hooker standing outside of an all you can drink bar full of out-of-towners that thought of nothing more than how “cool” it would be to bring about the end of the world. I almost don’t know how to express myself. A collection of Tribbles multiplying within my stomach, filling my esophagus and pouring out of my mouth could not bring me to feel a greater warm fuzzy.
Shyfty Out –
I remember that range of emotions. It was…..strangely disturbing and exhilarating all at the same time.
You.. Axe Whol! I go home with him.. you have own bed right?
