Neo Geo Coming to Wii

Nintendo has officially confirmed the release of Neo Geo games for the Wii. The games will run for 900 points and be “available soon” although no official release dates have been specified.
The Neo Geo was manufactured by the Japanese company SNK. It was an ill fated console that, although technically superior to the competition, came out at such a high price point for the hardware and games that it quickly faded into obscurity save for a few die hard fans.
Despite the price, the console had a few well liked titles such as The King of Fighters and Metal Slug series. The first Neo Geo titles to be released will be Fatal Fury, World Heroes and Art of Fighting. Gaming Today will post more dates and games as they come in.
