Natasha Bedingfield to be EA’s Boogie SuperStar

Natasha Bedingfield is getting more promotional exposure from EA. First she contributed her hit “Pocketful of Sunshine” to The Sims 2: Free Time soundtrack. Her latest liaison with EA is as the spokesperson for its upcoming Boogie SuperStar game for the Wii. The game, targeted at girls, has players singing and dancing to their favorite artists’ tunes on their way to becoming a superstar. Their performances will be captured on screen with the Wii motion-sensing technology.
According to the press release in Business Week, Bedingfield has contributed several songs to the game including “Angel” and “Love Like This.” “Pocketful of Sunshine” will also be part of the line up… in English this time instead of Simlish. I’m sure my tweens will love this game. Unfortunately, I recognize many of these songs they blast ad nauseam from their MP3 players. That’s OK, I’ll have my revenge through Rock Band DLC. Rush “Moving Pictures” is as good as mine.
