myspace MySpace Games Coming in 2008

Just when you thought it was safe to browse the internet again, the online leviathan MySpace rears its voyeuristic head again and bellows it emotastic cry to the world. Teaming up with with Oberon Media, MySpace is launching a games site which will allow users to customize their page with hundreds of casual games.

“We’re very excited to be partnering with MySpace to provide the best social networking casual games experience to its growing audience,” commented Tal Kerret, co-founder and chairman of Oberon Media. “Our white label casual gaming solution is allowing us to create a customised games platform that delivers a great experience to MySpace users. We’re looking forward to responding to users’ needs and to involving the best game developers to create the greatest online entertainment experience. The opportunity to give MySpace users the chance to share the fun and socialize within this rapidly growing media segment is thrilling”.

This is great news for MySpace users who are no longer content with just having a virtual pet gargoyle, or a David Hasselhoff  “Jump in My Car” music video plastered upon their page. Now, they can show the world what a “hardcore” gamer they really are. Lookout MySpace miscreants, and new hoodlum is about to emerge on your turf… the casual gamer!
