My Video Game Picks of the Week

If I had to choose two must-have games this week, I am going for Shadowrun (PC, Xbox 360) and Mario Party VIII (Nintendo Wii). I have included the trailers for both games below.
Shadowrun
Shadowrun was a huge roleplaying game in the 1980s and a cult classic on the SNES and Genesis. This next generation version of Shadowrun seems very promising. It seems the background story for this version is a bit diluted and plays more like an objective based shooter. For the first time, PC and Xbox 360 users will be able to face off with each other in online matches.

Mario Party VIII
This is technically the 11th game in the Mario Party series and seems like it hasn’t lost it’s edge. I’ve played it a few times already and love it. It’s a nice casual break from serious gaming. There are endless amounts of fun things to do with this one and some good exercise value as well.
