MPAA Goes after Hex Processing Key

People who DIGG it have had their accounts closed. DMCA takedown notices have been sent out. And why? Because the MPAA is, again, pissed off.Hex Code

The MPAA wants Hex 09 f9 11 02 9d 74 e3 5b d8 41 56 c5 63 56 88 c0 to be kept out of public sight, and it’s causing concern in the digital consumer community. People have even gone so far as to fill web pages with stuff like you see pictured here. You can check out a story over at The Inquirer for a little more info.

It’s always an interesting trade off between the copyright owners and, well, everybody who wants to get free stuff. We will have to see what the MPAA’s next move is.
