Well if you look at it, it looks like it might take place back in the day, when being fat generally ment that you were rich or of royalty. Im not going to bother trying to look up which age that was, but im fairly sure its out there.

I for one cant wait to play the game.

man, they’ve been putting fat guys in games for years, and nobody cared. and i’m pretty sure the whole “pick up a fat woman and move her” thing has been done in previous games; it just wasn’t the whole game. and yeah, it is cute; that’s kind of the whole point. if it were the whole “treasure chest” idea, the game would barely stand out.

It’s actually a very clever game. The fatter they make the kidnapped princess, the harder it is to rescue her. Awesome.

Why feminists are all up in arms about this is beyond me but perhaps they just lack a sense of humor. It is just a game.

Again, I don’t have a problem with the game. I don’t think the game’s misogynistic, I think it’s cute. I am disturbed by how many people immediately respond by putting down women, though…

It’s lovely how NOBODY bothers to investigate what it is about the game that actually upset people. All they do is repeat a couple of out of context quotes, then grab some “potential rebuttal”, make some vague innuendo about how dumb girls are, and then post their news story.

The game is not particularly offensive to me. The game is just a game. It’s sort of cute.

The way people react to women’s opinions IS offensive.

I guess I can understand some anger over the name, but then again, we must save the princess as the opposing team feeds her more. This game has nothing to do with obesity, more with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If they want to get over serious about the game, we all should. It would be unwise for any person to so much as to actually gain weight that rapidly without some mental disorder. Either it be a symptom of pure fright of being condemned prison of a war and the anxiety is causing her to eat an unreasonable amount of food. Or it could be a sign that she knows no when to quit when she’s had enough, a common eating disorder in most overweight/obese people today. She should consult a doctor when the war is over.

I mean come on, it’s a game, I didn’t see the gay community in shock over Niko’s gay friend, he was a walking stereotype with cliches for shoes. And like Handshakes said, well I’m putting his point out here: There are far bigger things to fight other than a game that is completely fiction and is not poking fun.
