Motorstorm 2 Coming in 2008 with 4-Player Split Screen

Who said split screen was dead? The sequel to the gorgeous but clearly released too early Motorstorm is headed to the PlayStation 3 later this year. And among its many features will be support for 4-player split screen action, acknowledging one of the many faults the original game suffered from.

As I said, the original game was a beauty but it was so blatantly obvious that the game was rushed. That isn’t to say it wasn’t fun, but so much of the game was simply missing; hence all of the downloadable content that we’ve seen since the game’s release.

The BBC only has a scant few details on the game, which they referred to as being “some months away from completion” but that it “looked rock solid.” If Motorstorm 2 can really take things up another notch from the original and Burnout Paradise, I’d be truly impressed.
