More Xbox Live Blues

The issues with Xbox Live continue to be a problem for many gamers. I have been personally experiencing problems myself ranging from loss of MS points which eventually popped back up to me not being able to sign into XBL which locked me out of some of my purchased content.
It seems that things have gotten worse on my end. I actually am connected to Xbox Live right now, but none of my menus on the system blade will appear. In other words, I cannot play any of the 70 some-odd games I have purchased for the Xbox Live Arcade. I cannot access the marketplace.
This may seem like no big deal to some, but it’s becoming a major problem for gamers including myself. The fact that I can’t access material that I have paid for is definitely something to be alarmed about. Hopefully, Microsoft can get on the ball and start getting these issues resolved. Things on my end seem to be getting worse every week with XBL issues. I’m not sure how widespread these issues are at this point, but I’m certainly not a happy camper.
I’ve been a fan of XBL for a long time and the service has been very reliable for me up until the past few weeks. Microsoft really needs to change how some things are handled including XBLA titles. When I have several hundred dollars invested in their arcade titles, I should be able to play them whether I’m connected to XBL or not. I should be able to play games I have purchased regardless of issues with the Live system. I’ll be curious to see how Microsoft plans to make peace with disgruntled gamers such as myself. A free download from the arcade simply isn’t going to be enough. I realize that most of the games were connected to my original system and for whatever reason, when you switch to a new console you have to verify ownership by signing onto live, but it’s not my fault that my first 360 bricked. What makes it even worse right now is the fact that I can’t play any of the games I have purchased, even ones I purchased on the new console.
I’m not sure what Microsoft has planned, but they really need to do something fast.

I have also been having similar issues and I have to say how fed up I am. DRM on the 360 is completely insane.
After spending shy of £60 ($120) on live content (plus more on live fees) then my 360 bricking I seriously can’t bare to deal with Microsoft telling me I am not allowed to have access to things I have physically paid for.
WHY CAN’T MICROSOFT JUST CHANGE THE DRM TO MY NEW MACHINE!!!
Why is it so damn difficult? Tell me, please tell me!?
MY 360 has broke thanks bad enough, but I’m pulling my hair out at the moment. I can’t grasp that I’ve paid money here and yet I don’t own anything. Is it just me who feels completely M$ raped?
