Last week, the developers for the new Alone in the Dark unveiled a tech demo for the game that showed you how the item system would (namely to blow up rats). Now there’s a new tech demo that shows how the player can interact with the environment, particularly by setting things on fire. There’s certainly some impressive technology behind this game. We’ll just have to wait and see if it’s paired with engaging gameplay.

That's really neat. I just hope that they do not make the control scheme too complicated or time consuming.

Too bad this game was pushed back to Fall 2008, but I'm glad at the same time as long as they get to fit in amazing stuff like this into the game. The wait will be worth it.

This really is looking amazing so far, I hope the game itself (story/fun factor) backs up all the neat little details they have going for it.
