More Rumours Squashed: No Ninja Gaiden Sigma For X-Box 360

X-Box 360 owners hoping to get a taste of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on their seem to out of luck. In a recent interview with Famitsu Xbox 360 in Japan, Tomonobu Itagaki from Team Ninja (yes, the guy above who looks like he’s about to kill you and your whole family) had this to say:
“We’re getting requests to port Sigma to the Xbox 360, but we currently have no such plans. But no worries, 360 owners! Team Ninja is still supporting your platform. We’re taking new challenges on the Nintendo DS, and the same is true for the Xbox 360. In order to respond to our fans’ expectations, we’re always making sequels and new games.”
So there’s good news and bad news. Bad news: no Sigma for X-Box in the works. Good news: it sounds like they’re currently working on other games for the franchise. And I have to admit, it does seem only fair since the last Ninja Gaiden game was exclusive to the X-Box.
