More Actors Cast in Upcoming Street Fighter Film

Looks like the producers of the new Street Fighter film have just about got their cast together. Aside from Kristin Kreuk, who will play the main role of Chun-Li, several other additions to the cast have recently been announced. Chief among them are Chris Klein (a.k.a. “that guy from American Pie”) and Michael Clark Duncan (a.k.a. “that guy from Armageddon). They will be playing Nash and Balrog, respectively. The film will also have Rick Yune as Gen, along with Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Taboo from the Black-Eyed Peas, and Cheng Pei Pei. No word yet on the what the plot entails, but it will somehow involve M. Bison as the main villain.
That’s quite an interesting mix of people. It’s certainly got a lot of people you wouldn’t expect to see in a film together…er, just like the first film. I’m just going to keep focusing on Kristin Kruek and Moon Bloodgood appearing in a movie together and hope that it all turns out alright (even though my “doom” sensor keeps going off wildly the more I found out about this movie).

Its good to see Moon Bloodgood getting some work after some great work on Journeyman. Was a great show its a damn shame it didnt last longer.

I don’t know about this movie but I’m not very happy with the Tekken movie which it is in pre production,so why is Chun Li the main character in the film but Ryu and Ken are the main characters in the SF series and they should be in the movie,Kane Kosugi who did the Ryu voice in Street Fighter Alpha movie could pull of as Ryu in the live action and an US blonde haired actor to play Ken as well.
Rick Yune,Michael Clark Duncan and Chris Klein have all been cast in the film.
