Mod Enables DualShock Usage on PSP

It’s a bit unwieldy if you ask me, but with some fancy mod work by Blizzrad over at Acid Mods, he’s managed to add support for a PS2 DualShock controller to his PSP. With it, he can control every face button on the PSP, with the exception of volume and the backlight.

The connector is smaller than the standard end of a DualShock controller, so the entire process is a tad more complicated than simply soldering a new port onto the side of a PSP. Needless to say, unless you’re really into this sort of thing, the technical details are likely to go straight over your head, as they did mine. But we can all enjoy a video of it in motion and appreciate the creative minds of the modding community.

You can also see an exercise in good taste, as anyone who plays Crush is okay in my book.
