MMOs Crossover to Console

MMORPG has an interesting article on the phenomenon of MMOs crossing over to consoles. There are several MMOs in the works that intend to try and cross over to the Xbox and/or PS3 including Age of Conan, APB, Huxley, The Agency and the upcoming Marvel MMO. The author starts by going over the obvious problems with playing an MMO on a console such as social events and chat with no keyboard and needing hot-keys to chain commands.The chief fear is that the games would have to be drastically simplified to integrate the console versions with those for the PC. Hopeful like Ever Quest the versions can remain separate until better solutions are engineered.
