I was not a robot or trained to kill. I was trained to do a job, no one I knew about would kill unless the bad guy took the first shot that is just the way we were. I do not know where people get these ideas about the military but my actual experience is a 180 difference. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of nice people of so many different races and cultures, I would do it again if I could. I have two boys currently in the military, both like it. One has been in over 10 the other 3 or 4 years. People that are anti military without the experience of being in could be missing something they would regret and never know it. Do you think the doctors,nurses, and lawyers kill in their spare time? I heard that 19 people die every hour from lung cancer, who lives forever? Army/RVN/1967/68.
