Took their sweet time to figure out that PC gamers aren’t gonna pay for something that’s free everywhere else. They can’t milk pc gamers like they milk the console kiddies.

You’re far from the only one thinking that (aside from the typical haters).

I’m sure MS has been and IS debating it. But when you’ve had such a substantial source of income from a “service” like XBL Gold, it’s like cutting off a major artery/vein at this point. GFW was a small blood vessel at best.

As sane as it sounds to anyonje with half a wit, the insanity will continue regardless – at least for some time.

about time Microsoft make it free. pc games had this features for free before GFWL showed it ugly head. Now if we can get mircosoft to get us some good pc game not crappy ports like halo 2 uhhh.

Make Xbox Live free then, buggs the hell out of me why I need to pay for a service that is free on the PC.
