Those enough lucky enough to attend the E3 briefing by Microsoft last night got to see a number of interesting trailers. Among them was a new Halo 3 preview that seems to take random footage of various objects and actions in the game while introducing a Covenant voice over proclaiming the end times of humanity.
Watching the footage closely reveals clips of the newly retooled Brutes, the ATV in action and some hints that the single player campaign of the game may not have the Master Chief acting alone. One scene in particular shows the lead Spartan standing on a hill overlooking a covenant fleet next to an Elite who could likely be the Arbiter. There is a nice mix of multiplayer and single player footage that demonstrates Halo 3 is graphically far above the preceding games in the series.
Check out the HD version of the trailer here. (Due to it being an M rated game and requiring an age gate we cannot embed it directly into our report.)

Trailer was cool. I loved the small sequences with the Arbiter and Master Chief running side by side with big ol’ guns. I sense a bad-cop bad-cop relationship.
