Microsoft Isn’t Talking to Sony About Blu-Ray for the 360 and Wishes You Would Stop Asking

Ever since HD-DVD’s swift downfall, rumors have circulated that Microsoft was already in talks with Sony to create a Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360. Well, let’s just put those rumors to rest for now, since they’ve gone on record saying that no such talks are happening:
“Xbox is not currently in talks with Sony or the Blu-ray Association to integrate Blu-ray into the Xbox experience,” [group product manager, Aaron] Greenberg told Reuters in an interview.
Of course, the key word there is “currently.” I think most people would agree that Microsoft would be, well, absolutely friggin’ stupid to not try to embrace Blu-Ray as fully as possible. Right now, I’d expect they’re just trying to figure out how they would actually incorporate Blu-Ray into their systems before they start talking to Sony. I doubt we’ve heard the last of this.

It’s more like:
I don’t understand why both of you agree that ordinary people would be sticking their tongues out.
America defeated Japan in WW2; most obviously, they crushed two major Japanese cities with the use of nuclear weapons (killing multitudes of Japanese, and thus forcing the vicious pacific dwelling islanders to surrender to the Americans). Therefore, any company that has been pathetically spouted out of Japan’s radiated womb, will inevitably suck! Further more, it can be logically concluded, in the case of the Xbox360 vs the PS3, that any company that is based in the United States, will be undeniably superior to that of its Japanese counterpart!
