boy am I glad the ps3 is rock solid.

I'd be scared if there was a folding program on the 360. It would probably burn down the house while at work.

Listen, Th Eu has every right to get M$ to respond as unlike other parts of the world, Europe are trying to stop large companies from setting items to customers that is not fit for use. I've never seen my DVD, CD or Car CD/DVD scratch my disks. So why should M$ get away with selling faulty game consoles. And yes, they are faulty if they scratch disks as there should not be any contact of the disk except from the spinel. The EU are simply trying to protect the end user who are you and me.

wow, I had to send my crashbox back two times to get it fixed, I have 3 other friends out of which 2 had to send theirs back.... so that is what.. a 75% crash rate, going by my friends alone.

It's good somebody is sticking it to MS, they've been sticking consumers for way to long.

Just looking at the picture, there is no way anything like that should roll off the assembly line for $400. I've never seen a dvd player tear through a dvd like that. WOW!

I wish MS would respond to the 360's hardware failures (red rings of death) which appear to be more common than the scratching disc issue, at least here in the states. My brother and I have personally gone through five 360 consoles in one year and anything that actually makes a company accountable for and take responsibility for a shoddy product that obviously fails WAY above the industry norm is a welcomed breath of fresh air. It seems like all high end electronics, not just game consoles, are being rushed out the door at a greater frequency to capitalize on consumer trends before they have been properly tested. I stand behind anything that keeps the consumer from being ripped off by hype advertising and broken products.

They are consumers who just want a decent product, one that doesn't ruin other products.

I guess you get what you pay for.

My question here is, "What the hell is wrong with Europeans?"

I mean that in the sense that the EU has been bitching at Microsoft (which i am NOT defending) for including MICROSOFT internet explorer, and MICROSOFT media player in a MICROSOFT operation system.

Now they are ordering M$ to respond to this...who the hell do they think they are?

Unless I'm the only one with an error, the 'infamous video' link is bust and I don't want to navigate a Dutch site from the first link.
