69248 1 Microsoft Actively Looking for XBLA Titles,IdeasA post at Microsoft’s Gamerscore Blog shows that Microsoft is not adverse to listening to its user base when it comes to their online service. XBLA Service team member Jeremy goes on to say that while the company wants suggestions on older arcade titles or new non-game community features that things up in Redmond don’t move at a lighting pace and folks shouldn’t get their hopes up but that they are at least listening.

Its clear they are not looking for developers to submit XNA games here, but for the members to help create a wish list. Other than Aegis Wing I don’t believe we’ve seen any XNA developers, or in fact any independently developed games from the toolkit on the service.. I wonder why they aren’t soliciting those projects.

(Danny Dyer, one of the Aegis Wing developers corrected my earlier report that Aegis Wing was developed using XNA. Apologies for the misinformation. – Shawn)

Just FYI… Aegis Wing was not developed using XNA.

Ouch, sorry Danny – guess I need to correct that. I re-checked my notes and I guess I drew an erroneous conclusion there. Sorry for the mix-up.I;’ll update the story with a retraction:)
