Microsoft “Looking at” Allowing More Than 100 Friends on Xbox Live

It might not be a problem for some, but for others, the limit on the number of friends you can have on your Xbox Live friends list can lead to hurt feelings and shattered egos. Unfortunately, the Seinfeld “It’s not you, it’s me” line doesn’t seem to work particularly well when letting someone know they’re getting the boot from your list.
1UP recently got an explanation – if you can call it that – from Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg. He said that there is a technical aspect to it that makes it difficult, but it’s something that Microsoft is looking to eventually solve.
“I think it’s something we definitely want to do and something we’re looking at doing in the future, but it’s been more technically complicated than anyone anticipated, so it’s taking longer than we had hoped,” said Greenberg. “We will get there in the future.”
“There’s some interdependences. Some things like original Xbox games have friends lists hard coded in, so there’s things we gotta work through, but we’ll get it figured out, it’s something we want to do. Still, the majority of Live users don’t even have 30 friends. But, I agree, my list is full. [laughs]”
In the meantime, you’re just going to have to do your best George Costanza impression and get by with just 100 friends.

it’s about time. with the damn price of everything, you’d think we’d be allowed to have at least say 300 friends. I know many people with full lists.
do you have 100 real life friends?
once you do, I highly reccomend upgrading, otherwise you can suck a dick.
