Metroid Prime 3 Overtakes BioShock in Sales

metroidprime31.jpgIt looks like BioShock is being given a run for it’s money. In it’s first week of release, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has managed to overtake the PC/Xbox 360 title in terms of sales in North America, making it the best-selling title for the week across all consoles. It probably didn’t hurt that the Wii is the still the top console sold on this side of the world, or that this is one of the more major titles to come out for the system in awhile. Of course, when Halo 3 makes its way to store shelves, whoever’s in top place at that point is definitely getting bumped out.

Gamasutra’s article uses amazon for it’s sales figures… the same amazon figures thats had the PS3 has the #1 sold console for the past 2 months.

  2. Jorge E says:

Bull, I believe that MP3C will still atop.

if not however, I believe is a much more fullfilling, Thirlling and immersive experience than any game on PS3 or XBOX 360 will ever offer.

  3. Robbo says:

Metroid will always dominate games if you’re looking for an immersive, sci-fi puzzler with a healthy dose of shooting. Halo can go get stuffed
