Nintendo’s Month of Metroid came to a climax today with the release of the final installment of the Metroid Prime trilogy. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption came out today all across the US. The Wii’s innovative control system promises to make this the most exciting Metroid adventure yet. Players control Samus Aran’s arm cannon with the Wiimote while ripping armor off her opponents with the nunchuk.

“Metroid Prime 3 has a revolutionary control style that makes it easy for anyone to immediately jump into the action,” says George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “Now, an entirely new audience can experience this amazing first-person adventure.”

As always, players will have to use their heads as well as their reflexes as they solve complex puzzles and face tough new challenges. Samus must use the power of Phazon while resisting its deadly corruption to defeat her enemies.

Metroid Prime 3:Corruption is rated T for Teen and is now available for sale in the US exclusively for the Wii virtual console.

Ya…oh, wait, because I’m in Europe, I have to wait for a bit. Oh joy. Damn, it’s hardly a disc, I don’t see why it can’t make it over here at the same time…

  2. JTwitch says:

PAL vs. NTSC. The localization process. Two reasons why it takes longer to be released there.
