Details of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption have just been released. One could say I’m a huge fan of Metroid, having played it religiously on each of the four consoles, counting the GameBoy, that is.

It looks like the game developers are including bits for the hard-core gamers and fans of the series, like bringing back the stacked weapons that Samus had in Super Metroid.

I think that the translation to the Wii will be absolutely beautiful, and according to the release the motion controls work even better than the dual joysticks. Though, I think anyone who has played a FPS on both a console and a PC knows that this makes complete sense.

It would be nice if at the same time they released Corruption Nintendo ported the first two Metroid Primes onto the Wii–it would make a great package.
