Metal Slug-Inspired Gameplay in Trailer for Commando: Steel Disaster

Why should you care about Commando: Steel Disaster? Well, for one thing, it looks like it was quite obviously inspired by the classic Metal Slug games, what with its cartoonish art style and frantic shooting action. If that doesn’t do anything for you, then, well, probably nothing will. This game’s all set to release on May 9th for the DS. And now I can unfortunately add that to my growing list of reasons to buy a DS one of these days.
Why buy this when you could get the upcoming (or is it out already? I don’t remember) Metal Slug 7 for the DS? It’s not even a port – this is the first Metal Slug launching outside of arcades! I’m exited.
