I will be so pissed if they have that game on xbox, and i highly doubt they will have that game for xbox because.. that game is too long, and it doesn’t play blue ray.. Just like dude said on the other site i was at, if they made mgs4 for xbox, then it’d be just like making halo 3 for ps3.

OMG people who dont know nothing about gameing blueray is slow are as s*@# it is so slow in fact that game devolpers resulted to reinstalling data that is allready on the disk on to the ps3 hard drive to make games load quicker either that or the duplicate game data and place it in empty spots on the disk so the drive laser dosent have to travel as much. both methods make all that extra space redundant so MGS4 can be put on a normal DVD and can be played on the xbox with out that much lag. Im no fanboy but i hate when ps3 fanboys go and list crap like blueray can fit more crap when truly doesnt so go play lair

Everything that is ported will run better on the native environment rather than thru an emulated environment; hence apps that are designed for XB and ‘ported’ to the PS3 will be somewhat lagging from the native XB version since it is being emulated. My point is, is that once programmers begin to start wanting additional space that simply is too large for a DVD (BD) the XB simply won’t be capable of running it without the need for multi-discs and assuming the game isn’t developed around the Cell. The Cell would be capable of running anything on the XB because of its higher specs, but the XB wouldn’t be capable of running games designed in this manner. At this point, XB will see games ported over…..

OK, for every1 here. I have both consoles, and y is it that ps3 fanboys are on a xbox fanboy site?
And for games, i was massively disappointed with the selection of games that u can get for the PS3. Xbox has far more, and it has better gameplay, in my opinion (and my friends) but each to his own. I mainly use my PS3 to watch movies cuz its nice an quiet
@theone, wat r u talking about? CoD4 was even ported over to th PS3, ive played it on both of them and th xbox has better graphics in CoD4!
@THELORD i kno u have had sum bad luck with ur xbox, but thats all it was! Im onto my 3rd PS3, cuz my first 2 broke. My xbox hasnt broken 1 time and its not very well ventilated.

Just pointing out these facts, cuz i prefer my 360 and want MGS4 for it, but instead i find flaming of consoles! Enough already! If u dont have both, ur opinion doesnt count, OK? DEAL WITH IT!

THELORD ur opinion is ok, cuz uve had troubles with it, but every1 else, get a life, its just a console!

Afraid that Microsoft’s year-early release of the console may be starting to backfire on them.

Since it came out a year early programmers were designing games for the XB and porting them over to the PS3 giving the XB an advantage. Now that bluray has won the hi-def war, developers are starting to plan on the extra capacity to program better games since there is no question which format they should work with. This means that unless XB plans to get a blu-ray add on capable of actually playing games on this format, they’ll be stuck to a limited DVD capacity. Konami announced this will be on a dual-layer BD making the game at least 25GB (with a possibility of going up to 50); it would take 7 single DVDs or 3 dual-layer DVD to match the minimum, all assuming they can somehow make the cell-dependent features compatible with XB. I had an XB until I saw that most of the games were simply ported over to PS3. I sold it and got a PS3. Figured it was better to have extra power under the hood for future releases than have one that would be ‘dated’ earlier (you can always go ‘backwards’ when you have more under the hood, but you can never go up unless you can expand the processor).

Who cares xbox 360 dont need mgs4 MGS4 is the only good game I see for ps3. I’m fine with my wii and xbox 360. And is there a reason why I see more ps3s in stock at a store then xbox 360s and wiis?

Reaper Konami said NOTHING about MGS4 coming to any other system. They said they were open to the possibility of the franchise going multiplatform in the future but nothing about MGS4. Once again that’s ‘open to the possibility’. That’s about as non committal a statement as you can get but the retard 360 fanboys seem to thinks its hard evidence.

MGS4 is not coming to the 360. Grow up and get over it.

@ reaper, thanks, i’m not a fanboy of either system, i enjoy games because despite what roger ebert says, i believe they are an art form, and i bought my 360 to get these pc games on my tv and with a dual analog controller(i like them for most games, not FPS though, but they do fine) i hope you do take the plunge and buy a ps3, then you can enjoy the best of both worlds, im just a little upset with the qaulity of the machine and i guess my luck with having them break down, (its well ventilated)

Shane Kim @ Microsoft was asked about this yesterday and he didn’t even say it was a possibility. He just said he could understand that some company’s have to go multiplatform to make money.

If they thought there was any chance of it comming then someone at Microsoft would at least say ‘it might do’ or ‘there’s a chance’ but no.

@reaper, you obviously read my post in haste, i stated that unreal and haze are mulitplat. and Saints Row 2, is multiplat, and thus dosnt count.
and actually becuase all the titles you listed are on pc, none are exclusive, seriously it boggles my mind, why did i buy a 400 dollar gaming system that overheats, makes me pay for online, when i can get all those games on my pc with free online and 10 times better graphics., ps3 and wii are the only two real ‘consoles’ out there, because they both have exclusives, 360 doesn’t, all their games are on pc, so theres your answer. you want to buy my 360?, its the 4th one ive returned lol

Another thing THELORD you forgot that 360 also has Fable 2,Maraton: Durandal, Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, Project Gotham Racing 4, Eternal Sonata, Mobile Ops: The One Year War, Crash of the Titans, Final Fantasy 11: Wings of the Goddess, Ace Combat 6, Left 4 dead, Phantasy Star Universe, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, Slinter Cell, World in Conflict, Lost Odyssey, Strike Force Red Cell, White Gold: War in Paradise, Chrome 2, Dawn of Fantasy, Destineer Spy Project, The House of the Dead 4, Saints Row 2, War World, Elveon, Too Human, Half Life, Halo Wars and of course what you stated Mass Effect, Halo 3, and Bioshock. Oh yea and Haze Unreal are both on 360. Dont get me wrong PS3 does have games that I like which are MGS4 and maybe Killzone 2, depening on how well it does im not sure so I’ll just wait until Sony makes a real move before I make my move to buy a PS3…..

excuse me xbots, but y is it that when you all say, “360 has tons of games, like halo 3, gears, and many more” its always just many more?, well? what many more GOOD games? bioshock and mass effect? i think thats it so you have 4 good games, and by the looks of halo 3. 3.5 good games, oh wait mass effect looks exactly like halo, ok, 2.5 good games, and when the ps fanboys state their case, they can always come up with more games, they dont just say, “many more”, here i’ll try it, ready? Go! Lair, Heavenly Sword, Littlebigplanet, MGS4, Killzone 2, (ok im over the 4 that 360 has, but i’ll keep going) Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Haze, Unreal Tournament 3(ok the last 2 are timed exclusives, but ps gets mods for unreal and 360 doesnt) I mean this list really goes on, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy, Eight Days, inFamous…. whew, i’m tired from naming off those games, i got nothing left to say as I think the list proves my point quite nicely. And just so everyone knows, not a fanboy, i own both, but i’m seriously considering selling my 360, i mean halo 3 is not going to keep me entertained for long (judging by gears 6 hour storyline, im betting that halo 3’s story will be around the same length. and for 60 bucks a game for ‘nex gen gaming’ thats a rip, sure they say lair is only 15 hours, but its still twice as long as the 360’s top selling game) o this may help those of you who like to see it side by side

Excuse me Norbit the 360 has offered us many great games such as Gears Of War, Darkness and many more also it is so far beating the ps3 in graphics and games as the ps3 has no great game so far and the fiest game is going to be metal gear further more the 360 is promising a number of good games in the future such as Halo3, Bioshock and many many more so plz do not critisise the 360 because so far its doing better then the ps3
