Max Payne’s New Comic Book Style Trailer Looks Very Familiar

I’ll admit I’ve been pretty sketchy about the whole idea of a Max Payne film ever since it was announced. That’s mostly because the game makes me think of two things: the awesome bullet time action and the cheesy story filled with strange one-liners. That said though, every time I see a trailer for the movie, I can’t help but think of how cool it actually looks. This new trailer is no exception to that, but this is also the first time we see a distinct connection to the game aside from a grimaced protagonist. The whole video is oddly reminiscent of the comic book style cut scenes from the game, but without the thick level of cheese. Here’s hoping the final product is just as promising.

    I don’t think so. A FUCKING PG-13 rating? It’s bullfuckingshit.
