BioWare president Greg Zeschuk gave Eurogamer an interview in which he talked about Mass Effect ’s cinematic structure and combat system, explained why he believes it’s a “true next-gen” title, and discussed the differences between PS3 and Xbox 360.
First and foremost, Mass Effect is an RPG although it also contains shooter elements.
G.Z.: A lot of people have said when they start playing they just run round shooting, and it feels like a shooter…. when you get into the game you start getting into situations were just shooting doesn’t work.
