Mass Effect Character Spotlight Video #1

Here’s a new video introducing a few of the characters in Bioware’s upcoming RPG, Mass Effect. The two important features I gathered from watching this video are (1) the quality of the character models and animations and (2) the quality of the voice acting we are to expect in Mass Effect. I highly recommend downloading the HD clip for full effect. Rest assured, I don’t think the video is going to spoil anything game-wise.
Here’s a list of the characters featured in the 2 minutes of game footage.
The character David Anderson’s voice sounds an awful like Keith David. If so, that’s a good thing. Keith David is the new James Earl Jones.

Uh…high texture detail doesn’t equal good animations. That first guy, when he turned his head? When will console users realize we’ve seen this all before, and better…on PC. In games like Half-Life 2, the facial animation is much better than that. The texture detail isn’t as high, but that’s only because computers couldn’t handle that at the time. They even have a high-res texture pack on filefront.com that makes it beeeaaauuutiful.
deptaro is a douche
That video was just plain awesome – I also post this in a recent news post on my Mass Effect website. Mass Effect is just going to blow all the competition out of the water upon its released.
Again, just plain awesome. =]

Not bad.
@ David
You may have seen it on a PC, but i CHOOSE to play on a console as there tends to be a lot less aim-bots and spawn-killing than on your precious PC. And this level on a console DOES impress me, and I am looking forward to this game, even more since viewing this video.
